House — The one that's always on. Warm wood, a little green, nothing to prove.
Margin — First walk. The air still cold, the dog ahead.
Bolderwood — Rosemary and orange blossom. The herb garden after the swim.
Pulitzer — Wet stone, green from the park. The hour before it gets hot.
Ingino — Hot stone and olive groves. Cypress on the ridge. A thunderstorm last night.
Brera — Italian citrus, doors open to a garden. Late April, before dinner.
Tamarisk — Cool pool, hot stone. The desert past the wall.
Vine — Warm leaves under glass. A glass of something, a flower across the room.
Crescent — Jasmine over a wall in late spring. Restrained.
Eldridge — Citrus zest over old wood. Late winter, somewhere small.
Eythrope — Red silk, old wood. Whisky from yesterday, cigar from the week before.
Eider — Soft wood, low light. Lavender, glanced sideways.
Voil — Wet stone, green air. Summer rain in the glen.
